Week Beginning 18/1/20

Monday 25th January 2021
Good morning everyone!
I hope everybody has had a good weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Zoom as we resume our remote learning!
As we have done previously, I am contactable at class6@mylor-bridge.cornwall.sch.uk if you wanted to send in work, photos or even just to say hello then it would be great to hear from you. There are periods of the day when I will be best suited to reply to emails so if you don't get a response straight away I will get back to you as soon as possible!
Stay safe and stay positive,
Mr. C
Maths Weekly Learning
Please find attached the worksheets and answers for this week's Maths learning.
English Weekly Learning
Please find attached the English learning for the week. Keep in mind that if there isn't a resource attached for a particular day, you may simply need to write your work into your book at home.
Maths and English Challenges
In the instance of finishing early, why not have a go at some of these Maths and English challenges while you wait!
Please find attached the spellings for the week. These will be tested each Friday, starting Friday 15th January with the ones below.
Afternoon Activities
Please find attached any work you might need for afternoon activities. Remember, if there isn't a link or resource, you may not need one to complete the session and I will explain on the Zoom call what is needed to be done for that session!
Week Beginning 25/01/21
Monday - Science (diet and nutrition's impact on the circulatory system)
Tuesday - Computing (Purple Mash)
Wednesday - Geography (rivers)
Thursday - History (Tutankhamun)
Friday - Art/Design (sarcophagi)
On Tuesday afternoons, Mrs. Hamilton has uploaded some Purple Mash to do tasks for you to have a go at. These will be updated each week to continue our Computing learning this half term.
Please find below the PDF version of Holes. We will continue reading through the story this term and you can use this to follow along with should you wish.
Tuesday PE
PE will continue as usual on a Tuesday afternoon. Below I have attached some links to YouTube videos and series that you can use. Remember, it is important to stay active during lockdowns and these weekly sessions will hopefully provide you with some physical activity during the week. With different people having different amounts of space, you may need to be creative or select the activity that suits your specific needs. Feel free to use your daily exercise as a walk with the family or something active in the garden - the key is to remain active!
Useful Links
Below are some useful links to websites that we use in class. If you are having trouble logging in, please let me know and I can get back to you with your details.
