Next week is the Virtual Cornwall School Games. It would be great if as many of you can take part as you can. Taking part and uploading your results is really easy. Below you will find a you tube clip explaining it all and how to submit your results next week as well as a time table of events. It can all be done through the PowerPoint that I will attach below.
Please watch and good luck for next week
From Monday 22nd June - Friday 26th June, there will be a week of sports based physical activity challenges that all children in Mylor Bridge School can get involved in. These challenges can either be completed in school or at home and can be adapted by using equipment you may have available to you where you live. By taking part, you will score points for your year group and the school.
I have attached a fact sheet with lots of information about the week and a number of challenge cards which relate to the activities that are making up the games. Each challenge card gives you instructions on how to play, the equipment you can use, how to score (including bonus points) and a video clip showing a demonstration.
As well as these challenges, there will also be a separate task called: "Making up the Miles," which involves logging as many miles as you can either walking, running, cycling, skiing or scooting.
I'm really looking forward to the games week and will post more information as I receive it. It's a great opportunity to partake in some physical activity and to get competitive with yourself or your friends. In the meantime, have a look at the challenge cards and get practising.
Best of luck.

Hi Guys,
I hope you enjoyed practising the activities for the virtual games last week. The athletics and bowls activities will take place on Monday and Tuesday next week. This week I am giving you the challenge cards for dance and gymnastics (which will take place on Wednesday next week), tennis skills and volleyball skills (which take place on Thursday and Friday).
I am also adding the details for the 'Making up the Miles' challenge which you can complete over the week. Read each challenge card so that you know the rules and how to score and watch the video clips for a demonstration.
Have fun practising and I will send more details about how to upload your efforts when I receive them.
Best of luck.
Mr Mutsaers
