Spring 1 - Journey to the Jungle
Our topic this half term is all about rainforests. We will learn about where rainforests are located around the world, the geographical features, the various layers that they are separated into as well as learning about plant and animal life in these places.
In Science, we will be learning about animals and their habitats, finding out about how animals survive and thrive in various habitats including deserts, The Arctic and, of course, rainforests.

Spring 2 - My World and Me
This half term our topic will give us opportunities to learn about geography of the world, learning about continents and oceans. We will also be learning about Ecuador in South America, comparing both its human and physical features to those in our own country.
Our Science lessons will centre around plants, where we will learn about the life cycle of plants and carry out various experiments to discover the optimum conditions for plants to survive and thrive.
