Our Classes

Spring 1 - Arctic Adventure
This half term, we will be learning all about the Arctic, finding out about the countries in the arctic circle and their climate. We will also identify and describe the physical and human features that can be found there.
 
In Science, our topic is living things and their habitats. We will find out about the 7 life processes that all living things have and learn about a variety of habitats and the living things that live within them.

Spring 2 - Fantastic Fossils (Mary Anning)
Our topic this half term has a historical focus and is centred around Mary Anning as a significant individual. We will find out about Mary's life by using a range of historical sources and artefacts. We will also continue to develop our skills in, and understanding of, chronology by using timelines and key events in her life.
 
In Science, we will build on last half term's learning of 'Living Things' by focusing on plants. We will learn about the life cycle of plants and find out what plants need to grow healthy by carrying out a variety of experiments.
